It’s amazing who and what you can find on Twitter – and when we stumbled upon a local South African jeweller by the name of Jessica, we just had to share her jewellery with our readers. It’s hard to believe that so much prettiness can come out of a home workshop in Port Elizabeth, but this one woman show is really pouring all her creative energies into her hand forged craft.

What sets Jess’ jewellery apart is certainly its rustic quality. As she says on her own blog:

Jewellery doesn’t always have to look perfect and identical to the one made before it. Perfect can very easily be boring. I like to celebrate this idea, with my rustic jewellery pieces.

And we have to agree, her jewellery is anything but boring – in fact, it has a special quality that that is only enhanced by the finishing touches she adds to her work. Her gift boxes are lovely enough to be sold separately.
